What is an Aider?

In mobile hunting, an aider is a lightweight step made of rope or webbing that extends your reach from one stick to the next. It’s a simple tool to climb higher with fewer sticks — but it usually comes with its own issues.

Most aiders must be clipped, tied, or secured to each stick. They’re noisy, can tangle in your pack, and are easy to forget at home or in the dark woods. They’ve always been an afterthought — until now.

The Tree Styx Difference

Our integrated aider is patent pending and the first of its kind. Seamlessly built into each stick, it deploys or retracts in seconds — no wrapping, tying, or separate pieces. It’s lighter, faster, and always ready.
