The Treestand Manufacturer’s Association (TMA), which we are proud members of, recommends two ASTM durability tests to prove product safety.  The first test is a 10,000 cycle fatigue test run at the rated capacity of the climbing stick.  The second test is a one time pull at twice the rated capacity.  We have passed both of these tests on the climbing stick itself and also for the integrated aider.  In addition, we asked for a third test that pulls on the climbing stick until it fails.  It took over 1,000 lbs to fail Tree Styx!
